It's a really universal and understandable idea, very well executed in technical terms, and visually very appealing thanks to the great contrast in lightning.
My only "obstacle" with the representation of the concept, is the final stage, where we appear as "suddenly burnt".
Personally, i think it'd be perfect if you showed, as we reach maturity, how we can reach our maximum potential and "light ourselves", until we consume and die. A lighted match in the middle, consuming itself to the end, would have been a perfect metaphor for a well lived life <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
But i imagine it'd have required another type of technique, a different procedure, setup, etc; so it's just really a detail about the concept; and in no way a "flaw" in the final outcome. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
